Love Island's Toby tipped for next series of Dancing On Ice following huge show success

Love Island’sToby Aromolaran has been tipped as the most likely to get his skates on for the next series of Dancing On Ice, as he becomes an odds-on favourite to join the show’s lineup next year.

Even though he and Chloe Burrows came second place, Toby has secured a massive fan base that adored his hilarious antics on the ITV2 dating show.

The 22-year-old semi-professional footballer didn’t steal the Love Island crown, but bookmakers believe the hunk is already eyeing up his next programme.

According to the latest odds from Ladbrokes, there is a 3/1 chance that Toby will take part in the star-studded skating show.

Bookmaker Alex Apati told The Mirror: “Toby wouldn’t be the first Islander to swap the villa for a stint on the ice, and the latest odds suggest there’s every chance he follows in the footsteps of Wes Nelson and Maura Higgins next series.”

Toby was certainly a big hit with viewers for his meme-worthy moments, and he got extra brownie points for finally asking Chloe to be his girlfriend during Monday night’s final episode.

In the final speeches, Chloe said: “Toby. Who would have thought that me and you would have made it all this way? From the first snog on the terrace to the bootylicious challenge, it’s clear we’ve always had an amazing connection.

“I wanted to find someone coming into this Villa but I didn’t expect to find someone as amazing as you.”

The couple may be tipped for stardom, but will they be able to survive the brutal reality talent show curse, where celebrities and get partnered up with pros and often spark infidelity rumours.

This happened during Dancing On Ice, with Wes Nelson and Megan Barton-Hanson, when the show ultimately caused the pair to split up.

Megan dumped Wes following a series of row. It was reported that it came after Wes was spending time with pro-skater Vanessa Bauer as they rehearsed for their performances.

She accused Vanessa of vying for media attention and wrote on her Instagram Story: “Love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend!

“You’ve never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night you didn’t even look me in the eye LOL.”
