Married at First Sight fans were left baffled during Thursday night’s instalment of the hit Channel 4 dating show as Matt Jameson and Daniel McKee swapped between the girls and the boys throughout the show.
Viewers watched the boys and the girls split off into two teams during the explosive episode where the couples finally spent a day away from each other for the first time since the show first aired.
But as the first all-male couple, Matt joined the girls for their ladies’ day after he enjoyed the stag do with the lads before they tied the knot.
Similarly, Dan spent the afternoon on the lads’ trip after he partied into the early hours with the girls at the hen do.

But not all viewers understood why the pair swapped groups as the girls spent the afternoon enjoying a tea party together at a country home.
While drama ensued between Megan and Alexis at the tea party, the boys enjoyed a classic booze up while they ate burgers and hotdogs as they shared drunk stories together.
And viewers couldn’t help but take to Twitter to share their thoughts on the switch up throughout the show.

One user wrote: “Wonder how they decided who would be with the boys and who would be with the girls out of Dan and Matt?”
As another questioned: “Why have Dan and Matt swapped which group they socialise with?”
To answer their confusion, a third fan penned: “Dan went on the hen do and Matt went with the boys on the stag do.”
Whereas, others weren’t too happy with the change as others admitted they preferred the groups the way they were before.
One complained: “No but I love Dan and Matt alternating with the girls.”
Another agreed: “How weird that the boys have changed groups. I loved Matt with the girls.”
