Maya Jama teases first look at ITV's Walk the Line as she oozes glamour for debut

Maya Jama is back on TV as part of Simon Cowell’ s brand new show Walk the Line, which launches on Sunday, December 12, on ITV.

Dawn French, Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon and Craig David will all be judges on the show while Maya takes to the stage as the lead presenter – and she’s given fans a sneak peek before it starts.

In the clip Maya is seen wearing a stunning shimmering dress with a plunging centre with the sleeves sitting off the shoulder in a bardot fashion.

The dress cinched in at her waist as Maya donned her short locks and a purple eyeshadow with a strong lippy to match the look.

Maya is never one to shy away from glitz and glam, with the stunning star even hosting a pop up beauty salon with JD and Adidas on Wednesday titled Jama and & Drys.

And she’s clearly putting her skills to the forefront of her presenting gig as she looked nothing short of glamorous as she welcomed viewers to the show, telling the camera: “I’m Maya Jama and welcome to Walk the Line!”

The clip goes on to say: “25 acts will take to this stage, someone will take home half a million pounds”, as Maya said: “Will they cash out, or will they walk the line?”

Explaining what the concept of the show is, the judges said: “Walk the Line is a game of nerves, excitement and confidence. Entertaining, fun, risky. All about testing the nerves.

“People who can sing come along and face against each other then take a risk on their own talents where they have to walk down a big long line and if you walk the line – you get half a million squids.”

Alesha Dixon concluded it as a “life changing moment for one person”.

Much like her appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, Alesha looked utterly glamorous as she sat in the judging panel on Walk The Line for the teaser trailer.

The star was donning a sequin mesh dress which she complemented with a subtle string earring and a chunky bracelet.

Multiple singers will put their talent well and truly to the test as the brand new show prepares to kick off this weekend.

Singers will need to back themselves or cash out of the competition for £10,000 – if they choose to walk the line they could be in for a whole lot more.

The six-episode series will air from Sunday, December 12 and throughout the week on ITV at 8pm.
