Katie Price’s first husband Peter Andre has reacted to the news that she’s got engaged to Carl Woods.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 48, was married to the former glamour model from 2005 until 2009, and the pair are parents to Junior, 15 and 13-year-old Princess.
Peter is reportedly “really happy” for Katie, 42, and Carl, 32, following their announcement.
A source told OK!: “Pete is really happy for Katie and Carl.
“He didn’t know Katie was engaged but he expected they may get engaged soon and he thinks it’s great.
“He thinks love is a beautiful thing and you can’t ask for anything more.”
Katie and Peter fell in love after meeting on I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here! in 2004.
They went on to get married and film their own reality show but things didn’t work out between them.
Mother of five Katie insists that she still doesn’t know why the singer left her over 10 years ago.
Speaking about their relationship breakdown on a podcast last month, the Page 3 icon claimed: “I never did anything wrong.”

Earlier his week, Katie announced that she’s set to become Mrs Woods after her former Love Island star boyfriend proposed.

Confirming the exciting news on their joint Instagram page, the lovebirds wrote: “”We’re engaged! See the full story and photos in next week’s @ok_mag.
While Katie’s ex Pete appears to be happy for the couple, her third husband Kieran Hayler gave an interview claiming that they were still married.
He went on to to give his verdict on Katie and Carl’s engagement.
Kieran, who shares Jett and Bunny with Katie, told MailOnline: “I have to hope for my children that Carl will be the last one.
“But I have no idea I’m not really in Kate’s life now other than with the children.”

His comments clearly left Katie with a bitter taste in her mouth and she quickly logged into her Instagram to blast her ex.
She shared a screenshot of the headline from his interview and took aim at her third husband and his fiancée Michelle Penticost.
The mother of five penned: “Well @officialkieranhayler we all know Michell isn’t your last and hasn’t been, stop trying to use me for media attention your not famous you are a nobody! [sic]
“For the sake of our kids let’s hope they don’t witness what they did in the past by your continuous behaviour.”
