Piers Morgan has long made his feelings clear about the actions of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since they upped sticks and decided to move to the US, stepping back from their positions as senior members of the royal family.
Having seen a new video tease from the Duke and Duchess’s tell-all CBS prime time interview in America this month, the Good Morning Britain presenter couldn’t resist reposting and telling followers he felt sick at the footage.
Next to a puking emoji, the 55-year-old captioned the post: “Ms Markle thinks she’s in a movie.
“This interview is going to be Oscar-winning deluded self-serving bilge.”
In the short clip, billionaire iconic interviewer Oprah, 67, who was also a guest at the royal couple’s wedding in 2018, was focused on Meghan alone.
“How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today?” she asked seriously.
Taking a second to consider her response, the 39-year-old shared: “I don’t know how they could expect, that after all of this time, how we would still be silent if there is an active role The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.
“And if that comes with risk of losing things,” the Duchess continued sadly, before pausing for thought.
“There’s a lot that’s been lost already,” Meghan finished dramatically, before the video abruptly came to an end.
There is sure to be much more drama to come from the royals’ controversial TV interview, and will only continue an ongoing feud.
Taking to the comments, Piers’ followers were divided, as one person shared: “I feel so sad for the Queen. She has served her country faithfully and admirably her entire life. And now, as her husband faces serious health challenges and she must be worried to death – her beloved grandson and his wife decide to attack her this way. It’s so cruel.”
“What’s she lost? She’s back in the USA and away from ‘the family’ seems to me she’s gained quite well….” another wondered.
A third pleaded: “I just wish everyone would just stop giving them the publicity, British press stop putting any news about them, if they don’t want to be part of the Royal family just stop covering them all together. The Royal family has been with us for years and part of what the UK is.”
While a fourth wrote: “The only thing that bothers me is that they said they wanted to live a more private life away from the Royal family, but instead they’re constantly looking for media attention.”
Conversely, another person commented: “Remember watching Disney’s Bambi @piersmorgan ‘If you can’t say nothing nice then say nothing at all’ Be nice, just for a change, you might feel better for it.”

“Just do what the rest of us are and just don’t watch or pay any attention to it. I don’t care about either side of this argument as it has naff all to do with me. Ignore and all will soon go away,” one follower said simply.
While one fan begged: “There is something about her I don’t trust but I love Harry and Harry loves her and I don’t blame him getting her away after what happened to his poor mum I wouldn’t stay if they done that to my mum and surely you wouldn’t either!! Give it a rest.”
Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Harry and Meghan airs Sunday on CBS in the US before being aired in the UK at 9pm on ITV, Monday March 8
