As the iconic movie celebrates eight years of being released, we take a look at where the real-life Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort, is now.
Jordan, 59, is very well known for his lavish lifestyle and was put on a global map after Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio played him in the debaucherous film.
The movie was a smash-hit and showed Jordan’s high-rolling life as a Wall St trader where he made his bucks out of swindling people out of their hard-earned cash.
But where is the geezer now? Since leaving prison in 2006, he’s gone on to lead a highly lavish lifestyle, marry for the third time and even join OnlyFans.
Let’s take a closer look…
Back story
In 1999, Jordan pled guilty to fraud and related crimes in connection with stock-market manipulation and running a boiler room as part of a penny-stock scam.
He then spent 22 months in prison as part of an agreement under which he testified against multiple partners in his fraud scheme.
Jordan then published the memoir The Wolf of Wall Street in 2007, which was later adapted into a film with the same name released in 2013.
Married life
While running his first business, Jordan and his first wife Denise Lombardo got divorced.
He later married Nadine Caridi, a British-born, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn-raised model whom he met at a party, and had two children with her, before parting ways in 2005.
The pair reportedly separated following claims she made of domestic violence, which were allegedly fueled by his drug addiction and infidelity.
These days he has tied the knot once more during a secret ceremony earlier this year with model and actress Cristina Invernizzi, who is said to be in her 30s and from Argentina.
Jordan is officially cited as having been married twice before stunning Cristina, however, it’s rumoured he may have wed ex-partner Anne Koppe in 2008.
In his podcast, he referred to her as his “ex-wife” and stated they were together for 12 years before amicably parting ways.
Millionaire lifestyle
Jordan and Christina are often snapped together in exotic locations all over the world and frequently share posts of them sunning it up on their social media.
From a quick scroll on both of their Instagram accounts, you can see the couple are often at fancy dinners or staying on luxury yachts.
Although, according to reports, theirs significantly fewer drugs and booze around as Jordan celebrates thirteen years sober.
OnlyFans material
The world’s most infamous stock trader has opted for raking in some more cash from content sharing platform OnlyFans.
In October, he promised to show his audience some behind the scenes snippets as he travels far and wide and to share his unrivalled wealthy lifestyle.
Jordan has joined a growing number of celebs on OnlyFans, such as Cardi B and Bella Thorne, as it attempts to establish itself in more mainstream content.
Belfort announced the launch of his new account via the OnlyFan’s Instagram page two months ago and
said that he was “super excited” and promised fans “exclusive behind-the-scenes content of my freakin’ cool as hell life”.
Net worth
Despite appearing to be living the high life, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Jordan has an approximate net worth of -$100million (£755m).
This is due to him being told to pay back the funds after he was convicted of defrauding investors.
He is now trying to make his bucks back by authoring some best-selling novels and travelling around as a motivational speaker.
The former trader’s books have been quite the success and have been published in twenty-two countries, and he is often invited on TV segments as a guest-commentator on channels such as CNN, CNBC, Headlines News and the BBC.
