Since the show has aired this season, Rita and her co-star judge Davina McCall have seen vile remarks regarding their outfits come their way.
Davina, 53, has been cruelly called an “old” woman and told to “cover up” by bullies.
Taking none of it, Rita told The Sun: “I really think style is a totally personal thing — if someone doesn’t like something I wear, they don’t have to, that’s totally fine.”

She continued: “What’s important is I just need to feel confident about me and how I feel — that’s all that matters to me with my style.”
It comes after one of the characters on The Masked Singer flirted up a storm with Rita on air.
The pop star was thrilled as the mystery celebrity in the Robin mask changed the lyrics of Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud and dedicated some lyrics to her in the sizzling moment.
They sang to the pop star: “Rita now, take me into your loving arms…”
After the performance, presenter Joel Dommett asked the How To Be Lonely singer how she felt after being serenaded by Robin.
The blonde bombshell replied: “I know I felt so lucky.
“That was a very sexy way of singing an Ed Sheeran.”
