Rita Ora will take the plunge in her upcoming music video for Sigala collab You For Me.
The controversial star, who hit notoriety last year after hosting a rule-breaching birthday party for herself in the middle of lockdown, filmed the clip at a rooftop pool in Los Angeles earlier this week.
Rita, 30, was joined by team of synchronised swimmers as she performed the track.
Teasing the clips which will be released in July, an insider told The Sun: “The track is a huge, summery, feelgood anthem and they wanted a really fun video to go with it.
“Everything is coming together and they are planning to release it in the next few weeks – just in time for dancefloors to reopen.”
Earlier this year Daily Star Online revealed how Rita had teamed up with BFF Charli XCX for the single.
While Charli wrote the song and sang the demo version, she won’t appear on the final cut.
During the song Rita sings: “I dance to every song like it’s about you/ I drink till I kiss someone who I like you.
“I wish that that I was honest when I had you/ I should have told you that I wanted you for me.”
A source spilled to Daily Star: “Charli co-wrote You For Me a few years ago but never planned on it being for herself.
“She and Rita are best mates so naturally she loves that she is going to do her thing on it.”
Rita will be hoping that the track helps take her to the top of the charts once more.
Despite a series of major TV deals, Ritas’ last top ten hit came in October 2018 thanks to Let You Love Me.
The following year she also enjoyed two top 30 songs with collab Carry on and Ritual.
Her latest singe Big peaked at 53 and fell off the chart after just one week.
Speaking to Daily Star at the start of the pandemic, Rita insisted she hoped to release a third album but planned on dropping a series of tracks first.
She said: “I have so many songs that I have been writing since Phoenix so I am defiantly making an album.
“I feel honestly that is how music is going. You put out the songs that you like and then wow you have an album.
“I definitely have a lot of single options in the pipeline for sure.”
