Sheridan Smith puts on busty display at the BRITs 2021 in little black dress

The BRIT Awards kicked off tonight (May 11) with a show-stopping red carpet, and Sheridan Smith was among the stars showing off their best looks at the annual event.

The actress and singer took to the red carpet in a little black dress, proving you can’t go wrong with the wardrobe staple.

The plunging velvet black dress featured some long sleeves and a netting detail across the chest.

She accompanied the look with some simple barely-there sandal heels.

Sheridan also opted for a sleek ponytail and fringe, and kept her makeup look very simple with black coloured nails to match the dress.

The singer could be seen enjoying herself on the red carpet, smiling and posing up a storm besides Rag’n’Bone man.

Sheridan joined a plethora of UK talent who could also be spotted at the ceremony, such as the likes of Dua Lipa, Mabel and Raye.

The 2021 BRITs took place at the O2 in London and global superstar Taylor Swift was set to be awarded the Global Icon Award, making her the first ever female recipient of the prestigious award.

Sheridan Smith’s appearance at the BRITs comes just days after she posted a cryptic post about the “shady snakes” in her life.

Taking to Instagram, the Gavin and Stacey actress wrote: “Never again will I trust snakes!

“Shady snakes lie low and act big. Wait ’til I tell you, all coming soon. Lawyers at the ready mfs [motherf***ers].”

She also went on to share a cryptic photo meme that read: “We never lose friends. We just learn who the real ones are.”

The actress, who welcomed her first child with partner Jamie Horn, also teased a tell-all autobiography.

In the since deleted post shared on Twitter, she tweeted: “Can’t wait for you guys to read the book, a lot of truths will come out!

“I hope you finally understand.”

Her book, Honestly: My Story is slated for release in October this year.
