Tamzin Outhwaite, who currently stars in BBC drama Ridley Road, has had many ups and downs in her love life, including her divorce from Miranda star Tom Ellis.
The ex-Eastenders actress was married to Tom Ellis, who turns 43 today, for eight years after being introduced by celeb friend James McAvoy.
After’s Ellis’ alleged one-night stand with his Once Upon A Time co-star Emilie de Ravin, the couple divorced.
50-year-old Tamzin has since moved on and fallen in love with Tom Child, a 30-year-old film maker.
The couple has been together for four years and seem happier than ever, despite their 20-year age gap.
Recently celebrating their four-year anniversary, Tamzin posted a snap of the two with a caption gushing about her love.
She wrote: “My beautiful partner in crime, my best friend, lover and surprise in life. Thank you for going with it and allowing our love to blossom against all odds. Who would have thought that we would still be loving four years in.
“The last four years has provided me with a lifetime of love that I didn’t know existed. Thank you for being a wonderful lover and even better step dude.
“A KIND Partner is the most important attribute .. Men do not come better than you.”
The loving post seems miles apart from her difficult relationship with Lucifer star, Tom Ellis.
Despite her heartbreak, Tom and Tamzin continue to co-parent their two daughters together, Florence, 13, and Marnie, nine.
Tamzin was also the step-mum to Ellis’ teenage daughter Nora, from his previous relationship with Welsh actress Estelle Morgan.
Ellis has since moved on and re-married. In 2019, he married American screenwriter, Meaghan Oppenheimer.
However Tamzin, who appeared as The Scarecrow in The Masked Dancer earlier this year, admitted that it was more than Ellis’ one-night stand that broke down their relationship.
Remaining guarded, she said in 2015: “I wouldn’t not be with my husband over a one-night stand is all I’ll say.”
Tamzin, who is the cousin of Holly Willoughby ‘s husband Daniel Baldwin, appears hugely happier with her new partner Tom, despite their age gap.
She told ITV ‘s Lorraine Kelly : “I tell you what it is, when you get to this age, you stop caring what people think.”
The actress added: “I think that’s a really important place to get to, because now the only opinions that matter are my two girls and if they adore him, which they do… that’s all I need.”
