Sylvester Stallone is known as one of the biggest “hard men” and “bad boys” in the showbiz industry.
And it appears as though the Rocky actor, 74, has always been quite the tough cookie, even in his teenage years.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Hollywood legend wowed fans with a throwback snap of himself powerlifting a fully grown man over his head at the tender age of 19.
The impressive snap sees Sly effortlessly lift his pal over his head while his bulging muscles take centre stage.
Alongside the teenage throwback snap, the actor poked fun at his diminishing strength.
“A good friend sent me this old photo from when I was 19 years old,” he penned.
“Funny, when I couldn’t go to a gym I would lift anything just to work out! Crazy right?”
Fans immediately flocked to his latest post to shower the star in endless compliments.
While some were quick to point out that the actor reminded them of Hulk Hogan’s character Thunderlips in the 1982 movie Rocky III, others fawned over the young star.
“You were so handsome OMG. You never changed though. This is epic,” gushed one admirer.
“Wow! This looks effortless. Impressive,” another complimented.
Another fan shared: “Amazing! Look at that concentration and those muscles. Gorgeous!”.
Meanwhile, a fourth quipped: “Hulk Hogan or Sylvester Stallone? Who knows.”
It comes after Sylvester recently told fans that he had to cut back on his weightlifting sessions.
While he’s had to take a little break from his love of extreme sport, it’s been non-stop in the film department.
It’s expected that two new movies starring the Hollywood icon will drop later this year.
Superhero thrillers Samaritan and The Suicide Squad are set to be released.
He plays Stanley Kominski in Samaritan, but his character in The Suicide Squad is yet to be confirmed.
