Wayne Rooney and Coleen Rooney are opening up like never before, sharing an intimate glimpse into their huge wedding day.
The power couple from Liverpool tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony back in 2008, with the couple splashing out around £5 million for their big day in Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy.
Wayne and Coleen celebrated their nuptials in front of 60 of their closest relatives and friends in the beautiful resort before Westlife offered a private performance at their wedding reception.
Former reality star Coleen, 35, opted to wear a custom made dress by Marchesa, believed to have cost around £200,000 while luxury shoe designer Christian Louboutin personally made crystal-encrusted heels to match her beautiful gown.
In the new trailer, Coleen is seen walking down the aisle of the ancient chapel, beaming with joy as her father, Tony McLoughlin passes his daughter’s hand to Wayne, 35.
The couple who share four children first met as teenagers in the Croxteth area of Liverpool and started their friendship while at high school.
However, their relationship didn’t blossom until they were around 16-years-old, just before Wayne was about to break into the Everton first time.
Their wedding came six years after the pair decided to make their relationship official and 13 years later, they are still madly in love with one another, despite Wayne’s controversies.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, body language expert Inbaal Honigman told us: “During their wedding ceremony, her head is held high, she displays how she won at life, to her, getting to that altar, wearing the white dress, and later bearing the babies – that’s what it’s about – she’s scored!”
In the past, Wayne has addressed his infidelities and opened up in 2004, saying: “Foolish as it now seems I did on occasions visit massage parlours and prostitutes, I now regret it deeply and hope people may understand that it was the sort of mistake you make when you are young and stupid.”
He added: “It was at a time when I was very young and immature and before I had settled down with Coleen.”
In the documentary that is set for release in 2022, Coleen says she has forgiven her husband’s actions but they were “unacceptable”.
Coleen who was one of the original WAGs said: “I knew groups Wayne was hanging around with.
“Together with alcohol… Not good.
“I forgive him… But it wasn’t acceptable.”
