A heckler who was laughed out of a comedy show forgot her mum when she was storming out of the room, as shown in a cringe-inducing video.
The video was filmed by Kevin McCaffrey who was doing a show in Fredericksburg, Virginia, when he decided to confront a woman who had apparently been shouting through every comedian’s set that night.
In the clip, the blonde woman raises her hand to speak and Kevin’s response is a deadpan “no”.
“I guess it’s progress, you raised your hand,” he adds, prompting laughter from the audience.
The woman says: “Is it funny to be an a**hole?”
He hits back: “Well, no one thinks it’s funny when you do it.”
Kevin continues: “What did you think was going to happen here today? Did you know that we [the performers] were going to talk?”
The woman then says: “Does it not help when people interact?”
Kevin gives another blunt “no”.
The laughter from the audience appears to be too much for the woman, who gets up to leave after complaining she spent $20 (£15) on each ticket.
Kevin tries to give her some cash but she throws it back at him, prompting him to joke he feels “sexy”.
The woman angrily marches out of the room – then returns just moments later after realising she has left her mother behind.
Her mum also calls Kevin an “a**hole” as the pair leave, with the woman saying “f*** you” to the stunned audience.
Since he shared the video on November 30, Kevin revealed on Twitter he has been receiving death threats.
He tweeted: “The fact that I’m currently getting a lot of death threats from 1 person/several profiles is —if you know me at all — pretty funny.”
The comic shared screenshots of disturbing messages which read “I hope you f***ing die” and called him a “worthless piece of s***”.
