Amanda Holden says her daughters 'love' her boob-baring gowns on Britain's Got Talent

Amanda Holden has revealed that her children support her risqué outfit choices and encourages her to dress how she pleases.

The 51 year old has been known to push the envelope with her tantalising ensembles and previously sparked backlash for her eye-popping dresses while appearing as a judge on ITV’s Britain Got Talent.

But despite receiving hundreds of Ofcom complaints over the years for her jaw-dropping frocks, Amanda revealed that her husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters Hollie, 10, and Lexi, 16m are supportive.

When asked if her family have requested for her to tone things down, Amanda told The Sun: “Never. My family are only ever encouraging. Lexi and Hollie see me trying on frocks all the time at home and are the ones saying: ‘Go for it, Mum. We love that and you look great.’

“Fashion is about taking risks. I encourage everyone to have a little fun and be a little daring. I’d be bored playing it safe.”

Amanda also said that she often notices that her fellow BGT co-star Alesha Dixon doesn’t always receive harsh warnings for her choice of clothes.

She added: “Alesha gets away with wearing bikinis, but I don’t seem to. It’s bizarre. With shows where there are strong women on a panel, it’s sadly inevitable that they’ll be judged on what they’re wearing.”

Amanda will be back on screens tonight appearing on Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician.

The one off special episode will see 10 magicians from past BGT seasons compete for a chance to win a £50,000 jackpot.

Hosted Stephen Mulhern, Amanda will be joined by fellow BGT judges Alesha, David Walliams and American magician Penn Jillete will fill in for Simon Cowell, who is currently in the United States.

Sharing their thoughts on what viewers will expect, Amelia Brown, managing director of producers Thames, said: “We’ve scoured a huge selection of incredibly talented magicians across many Got Talent shows around the world, to bring audiences the very best performers on one stage.

“Viewers can expect a spellbinding display of talent with magic that needs to be seen to be believed. It’s also a great pleasure to welcome one of the world’s best magician, Penn Jillette to the judging panel.”
