The BBC Breakfast studio was full of love this week, as presenter Naga Munchetty warned viewers that we all need “a little bit of kindness”.
She was quick to compliment her co-star Carol Kirkwood’s glitzy outfit on Friday (December 23) while fans at home were left swooning over the weather expert.
Naga was originally chatting to her co-host Charlie Stayt about LadBaby’s new Christmas hit Food Aid, as Charlie commented: “Basically, no matter what you think of the song, it doesn’t matter because the money is going to a good place. That’s what happens.”

Naga agreed: “Absolutely. A bit of kindness this Christmas.”
Keen to put her words into practice, Naga turned to Carol to give the weather forecast, telling her: “Carol, you look sparkly on the inside and the outside. Good morning!”
“Thank you, Naga!” Carol gushed.
Carol looked incredible in a navy blue gown covered in gold sparkles, featuring a cut-out neckline and three-quarter sleeves.
She added a pair of pearl earrings to her ensemble to get in the festive spirit, leaving her blonde hair in loose waves framing her face.
Meanwhile, viewers at home were also loving Carol’s ensemble, as plenty of fans begged to know where she got her dress.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “@Carolkirkwood My partner is wondering where you got your dress from that you had on BBC on the 23rd. Any help be canny thanks!”
Another gushed: “@Carolkirkwood LOVE the dress you’re wearing on the telly box this morning! Where is it from please?”
“Good morning!! Damn Kirkwood you looking sparkly girl!! Have a great day,” a third well-wisher said.
It comes just a day after Naga was left red-faced by a guest who farted repeatedly on the red couch.
‘Miracle’ baby Heidi was with her parents James and Bethany, who had both been battling lymphoma during the pregnancy.

Thankfully both are in remission – while Heidi was born happy and healthy.
But she couldn’t keep from letting out a few parps as the interview wore on, with Naga and Charlie collapsing into giggles.
Naga giggled: “Did she just parp? She just parped! Does she usually wake up like that?”
“I did hear that,” Charlie put in, adding: “It’s a welcome to BBC Breakfast. That’s what that was!”
Naga continued through her giggles: “I’m telling a very emotional story here, please, Heidi – let me get on with it!”
But Heidi wasn’t quite finished as she let out another fart later on in the segment.
