BBC Strictly pros spotted having 'bust-up' while credits roll as star breaks silence

Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has decided to ignore the drama after being seen seemingly sharing cross words with his fellow professional dancer Graziano di Prima.

As the credits rolled on the 2022 final, which saw Hamza Yassin and Jowita Pryzstal win the Glitterball trophy, fans spotted something odd.

Giovanni and Graziano were seen pulling away from their co-stars in a group hug as the credits rolled on the show, and seemed to engage in heated words.

Fans quickly took to social media to comment on the exchange, as one said: “Could be me but did anyone see towards the end of strictly tonight something strange going on between Giovanni & Graziano?”

Another replied: “Wonder what this was about???”

A third asked: “I saw that, was it Graziano and Giovanni?”

But Giovanni has decided to ignore the drama as he shared a cancer video appeal on social media instead of addressing the alleged drama.

He wrote: “This year, the wonderful specialist nurses of Prostate Cancer UK have helped over 15,000 people.

“They’ve also had over a million hits on their award-winning risk checker.” Giovanni continued: “Over £5 million has been invested into research to find a better test of prostate cancer.

“So I’m wishing you all a merry Christmas. Please, let’s keep supporting Prostate Cancer UK in the new year.”

Meanwhile, Gorka Marquez was seen looking very disappointed as he and Helen Skelton lost out to Hamza and Jowita in the final.

Graziano is one of the newer Strictly Come Dancing professionals

The two couples had headed into the final in a two horse race, and after Hamza made some mistakes in his second dance, it seemed like it was in the bag for Helen.

But fans couldn’t help noticing Gorka looked “furious” as Hamza and Jowita were given the Glitterball, as it was the third time he had lost out in the final.

Strictly’s Christmas special airs on Christmas Day on BBC.
