Britain's Got Talent fans complain as Axel Blake and Aneeshwar through to final

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left with complaints as acts Axel Blake and Aneeshwar Kunchala swept through to this weekend’s live final after a nail-biting semi-final round.

The top three acts were announced as Welsh at the West End, Axel and Aneeshwar.

Comedian Axel was declared the winner of the semi-final, with Aneeshwar winning the judge vote.

But fans soon complained the show was a “fix” as Axel was Simon’s golden buzzer act.

Though Axel drew screams of laughter from the audience throughout his comedy routine dressed all in yellow after receiving the buzzer, fans are suspicious after other golden buzzer acts – including Loren Allred – already made it through.

One viewer tweeted: “Fix for Simon’s golden buzzer!”

“Wouldn’t it be simply simply lovely if We all vote Brian and Krysstal so that for once all of us at home rig the result instead [of Simon]!” someone else then suggested.

As a third fan said: “Axel Blake is through to the final and Simon is a happy judge.”

Simon also confirmed there will be a Wildcard act making it through to the final, to be announced at the weekend.

The ten acts through to the final have now been confirmed as singer Tom Ball, comedian Eva Abley, impressionist Ben Nickless, rap duo Flintz & Taylor, ventriloquist Jamie Leahey and singer Maxwell Thorpe.

Confirmed during Thursday’s show were The Greatest Showman vocalist Loren Allred and dance group Five Star Boys.

Loren Allred made it through by public vote and was visibly over the moon when the verdict was announced, while Five Star Boys made it through by judges vote.

But fans were left slamming the talent competition as a ‘fix’ after Loren stormed through on the public vote, as she already found fame as the voice behind the song Never Enough in The Greatest Showman.

Though Loren didn’t appear in the Hollywood blockbuster, she provided the vocals for Jenny Lind, the opera singer who performs the track and who is played on-screen by Rebecca Ferguson.

She also provided vocals for the film adaptation of Broadway hit Dear Evan Hansen.

Taking to Twitter, one fuming fan wrote: “I see they put the professional singer on a night with other acts that had no talent at all!, not fixed to get to the final at all!!!”

Another added: “We all know Loren has won it’s a fix why they are bothering to drag it out I don’t know.”

While a third penned: “Have they purposely put all the bad acts on tonight to make sure their golden girl Loren gets through?”

Elsewhere, fans are desperate for a few Wildcard acts to be confirmed – pleading for both The Phantom and The Witches to return.

Fans are sure they’ve now ‘unmasked’ the enigmatic act as none other than former Coronation Street star Ian Bartholomew, who played Geoff Metcalfe in the ITV soap.

The winner or winners of the show will eventually scoop a spot at the Royal Variety Show and a whopping cash prize of £250,000.
