As the first person to be voted out of the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle, Charlene White cosied up with former MP Matt Hancock’s girlfriend Gina Coladangelo in an Instagram picture.
Charlene wrapped her arm around Matt’s former aide as she posed with Babatunde Aleshe’s wife Leonie, Owen Warner’s dad and brothers and Jill Scott’s fiancée Shelly Unitt.
The ITV newscaster and Loose Women panellist posted the snap, taken by Charlene’s younger sister Carina, and added the following caption.

“One of the best things about coming out of @imacelebrity first is getting to know everyone’s friends and family properly, and hanging out with them,” she wrote.

“Morning rituals Down Under now include a daily breakfast coffee run with this lot. It’s a vibe”, she continued.
Charlene noted she was glad to return to “real coffee” as opposed to “tea of boiled skins of fruit”.
“It’s pretty much the same as the morning rituals in camp … only with real coffee, instead of our ‘pretend’ tea of the boiled skins of fruit”, she concluded.

During her time in the jungle, Charlene, who was camp deputy, refused to sleep in the RV alongside Matt Hancock as she didn’t want to risk her impartiality as a journalist.
She told former campmate, Sue Cleaver of her worries.
“I’m an impartial journalist, I can’t be sharing a room with a sitting MP because that just doesn’t sit well with me impartiality wise,” she confessed.

Matt, who’s still in the jungle, sent a message to his new girlfriend Gina via Babatunde, who was the most recent celebrity to leave the jungle.
As he hugged Babatunde goodbye, Matt said: “Oh you are so wonderful,” before adding: “Will you say that to Gina?”
Matt and Gina went official after their affair was exposed via leaked CCTV of the pair having a passionate kiss in the House of Commons, despite social distancing guidance advising against social mixing.
