Chloe Madeley says childbirth 'didn't go to plan' as she opens up in emotional post

Chloe Madeley and her I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! husband James Haskell welcomed a baby girl into the world just days ago but all isn’t as it seemed.

While the 35-year-old daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan and her fitness fanatic hubby were elated to become first time parents, Chloe confirmed that their daughters birth didn’t exactly “go to plan”.

Taking to Instagram with a black and white image of herself during the labour process, the online influencer opened up in a heartfelt post about her experience.

The internet star went on to hail her husband, who she had originally feared would have been attending a “DJ gig” instead of being her birthing partner.

Admitting she had been wrong about James, Chloe praised him for being a “dream” person to have by her side the entire time.

The Good Morning Britain host’s daughter penned: “Forever grateful that even though my childbirth did not go to plan, I was surrounded by compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable and experienced women from start to finish.

“Here is my deepest, most heartfelt thank you to all the midwives out there who pull long shifts, have to make difficult decisions under pressure, have seen a hell of a lot of good and bad, and exercise compassion and reassurance every single day for those under their care.”

James’ wife went on to thank: “Also to the obstetricians who are exactly where they need to be, exactly when they need to be there, and who manage to see the whole thing through with what seems to be complete ease.

“And @jameshaskell, after I nearly fired you from your post for fear you would be at another DJ gig when I went into labour, you were the DREAM birth partner.

They announced their little one’s arrival with a sweet black and white image

“I couldn’t have wished for anyone better to hold my hand and talk me through everything from start to finish thank you. I love you. We DO make cute babies.”

Two days ago, the married-couple announced their joyful news, sharing a sweet tribute to confirm their little one’s arrival showcasing her hand in a black and white image.

Chloe told fans: “We are delighted to welcome to the world our daughter.

“We are utterly besotted and beaming with pride.”
