Jeffrey Toobin resigned from CNN earlier this month but it appears he’s already found himself another job.
The legal analyst hit the headlines during the coronavirus pandemic when he was caught masturbating while on a Zoom call with his bosses at The New Yorker.
Jeffrey, 62, had claimed he believed his webcam and microphone had been disabled meaning those on the call would not be able to hear or see him.

However, he had not checked properly meaning bosses at the weekly magazine had caught him red-handed as he attempted to pleasure himself.
After two decades at CNN, he announced his departure on August 12 but he’s already found work, it seems.
Jeffrey, who studied at Harvard Law School has now listed himself as a “full-time journalist” working for himself, a role he says he took up in August 2022.
Earlier this month, he explained to fans that he would not be returning to CNN, taking to Twitter saying: “Friends, I’ve decided that, after 20 years, I’m leaving @cnn after my vacation.
“as great to spend my last day on air with pals Wolf, Anderson and Don. Love all my former colleagues. Watch for my next book, about the Oklahoma City bombing, coming in 2023 from @simonandschuster.”
At the time, sources claimed that Jeffrey wouldn’t be missed in the CNN office as “no one will shed a tear”.
Speaking after his masturbating incident, Jeffrey said: “I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera.
“I believed I was not visible on Zoom, I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me, I thought I had muted the Zoom video.
“I apologise to my wife, family, friends, and co-workers.”
He was subsequently fired from his role at The New Yorker, 27 years after starting and he was suspended by CNN bosses.
Jeffrey returned to CNN in June 2021 and participated in a rather awkward interview, during which he apologised for his “moronic” behaviour.
Speaking to host Alisyn Camerota, he said: “I think they realised that this was not intended for them, I think they realised that this was something that I would immediately regret, as I certainly did.”
According to reports at the time, the Zoom call was a simulation of the then-upcoming US election, with different members of staff playing specific roles.
For example, journalist Evan Osnos was playing Joe Biden, Masha Gessen was Donald Trump, and Toobin was playing the courts.
On the line were also some producers from The New Yorker and local radio station WNYC.
