Coleen Nolan introduces new man on Loose Women – and fans all say the same thing

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan is absolutely smitten with her new man Michael Jones.

The loved-up pair took their relationship to the next level as they went public with their romance on the ITV programme – but fans all had the same thing to say about their display of affection on the show.

Coleen, 56, and her 58-year-old lover previously went public in a romantic OK! magazine shoot and didn’t hold back on the details of their relationship either.

Michael and the TV star had been introduced on the well known dating app Tinder – with Coleen being the first of the pair to actually swipe right.

On their first date, the chemistry between them was electric and they remained in the pub until last orders.

Having overcome many hurdles already together, they decided to introduce Michael – who works at a supermarket in its logistics arm – to her Loose Women family.

The former Anglo-Irish girl group member made it clear that her new chap isn’t interested in the world of showbiz.

But Michael explained he’d already been mocked at work by peers who have now named him Mr Hollywood because he is dating a TV star.

Holding her hands over her face, Coleen began to squirm in her seat as she told everybody watching that she felt sick as Michael walked onto the show.

Last week, Coleen and Michael decided to put their woes behind them and finally went public with OK!

Many viewers online seemed to be baffled over Coleen’s reaction, given she’d struck up a deal with a glossy magazine of recent.

One tweet read: “Coleen hates it so much she sold the story to a magazine and brought him on this programme.”

A second commented: “He is not in the fame game which is refreshing because he doesn’t like all that… but here he is anyway!!”

While a third fumed: “See if Coleen keeps going on about how much her new man isn’t interested in fame or her being a semi celeb.

“Why on earth is he doing an exclusive on the show after their magazine deal.”

Michael was later quizzed by host Ruth Langsford as Coleen was banished off stage while adding: “I don’t like this.”

Opening up about meeting on the internet, Michael explained: “Yeah, I recognised her on the dating app. I didn’t think we’d match anyway or that I’d hear from her if she did swipe.

“But she swiped first. I didn’t think she’d respond but when she did we chatted for a while – a few weeks actually.”

While Michael insisted he doesn’t want to be part of the world of showbiz, he does accept that it is Coleen’s job and so he accepts that he’ll just have to get on with it.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12:30.
