She’s best known for playing Sarah Platt in ITV’s hit soap Coronation Street.
But Tina O’Brien looked incredible when she transformed into young heartthrob Frances “Baby” Houseman from Dirty Dancing (1987).
Hollywood actress Jennifer Grey famously played young heartthrob Baby, who fell in love with the rebellious Johnny Castle (played by the late Patrick Swayze) in the classic romance flick.

But it seems Tina, 39, fancied a go at playing Jennifer’s iconic role as she dressed up as the character for a fancy dress party, and she looked every bit the part.

The soap star left no stone unturned as she transformed into Baby, donning her plunging pink dress which featured in the film’s famous lift scene.
She even ditched her straight locks to sport Baby’s signature curls, and she looked absolutely gorgeous.
It wasn’t without Baby’s trusty watermelon and a photo of Patrick Swayze uttering Johnny’s famous line: “Nobody puts Baby in a corner.”

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (September 15), Tina wrote: “Throw back to when I went to fancy dress as “who did you want to be when you grew up?”
She followed up with a snap of her husband Adam Crofts holding her up like Patrick did with Baby.
Tina and Adam tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 2018, but they have been in a relationship since 2011 and now share their boy Beau.
Tina reassured fans she survived the risky lift and Adam didn’t drop her on the floor.
Tina recently reunited with her former Corrie co-star Nikki Sanderson, who played Sarah’s best pal Candice Stowe on the cobbles.
Nikki left the soap 17 years ago, but it seems the pair keep in touch away from the cameras as they were seen out together at a couture dress shop.
Tina wowed in a black mini dress and matching boots as she let her lush blonde locks fall onto her chest.

Nikki let her own brunette locks fall over her shoulders, having opted for a chic pink blazer, pale blue jeans and white trainers.
Tina shared the snap to her Instagram Stories to delight Corrie fans across the country.
The post, which was originally shared by the store, contained the caption: “The most 2 loveliest ladies in TV [heart emoji]”.
