During the episode, one viewer tweeted: “Can someone replace Denise Welch?”
The same viewer then tweeted again, writing” Does anyone find Denise Welch So Annoying on the Panel ???”
And Denise, who was checking her social channels during her stint on the show, spotted the remark.
Feeling compelled to reply, Denise simply wrote back: “Yes.”
Fans saw the TV star’s response to the troll, with one replying: “Haha what a great response, I love you on the panel.”
Another penned: “Denise, finds Denise annoying,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Denise is no stranger to hitting back at trolls.
In August, while on the show Denise slammed those who criticise her when she appears on Loose Women and plead her to “be quiet.”
During the episode, the Loose Women spoke about filling awkward silences in conversations.
After sharing her opinion on the topic, Denise opened up about the trolling she experiences when people tell her she talks too much.
The former Waterloo Road actress revealed that she receives tweets from viewers who demand her to “shut up” or “be quiet” when she appears on the ITV talk show.
Hitting straight back, Denise used the segment topic to shut down trolls, telling them: “Don’t watch it then!”
In the segment called “Do you dread sitting in silence?”, Denise said: “I do tend to be a little bit of a filler.
“Sometimes with shy people, I understand it’s not their fault, but sometimes shy people suck the energy out of you. It’s difficult to be the person to make the conversation all the time.”
To which co-host Katie Piper replied: “Maybe the shy people think you’re the filler and think ‘I wish she would stop asking me if I’m going on holiday.”
Denise then responds by hitting back at viewers who troll her online.
The mum-of-two said: “I bet there’s people on Twitter who are just going ‘I wish she’d just shut up’ and ‘give people a chance to say something’.
“Well, don’t watch it then! There’s an off button.”
