EastEnders fans gobsmacked as evil Gray gets revenge on Chelsea after shock arrest

EastEnders fans saw killer Gray Atkins drop a bombshell on Chelsea Fox after the new mum was sent an evil letter from behind bars.

As Chelsea attempts to piece her life back together, the beautician was shocked to receive a letter from Gray informing her that he will no longer pay the mortgage for No.1 Albert Square – potentially leaving her with a devastating foreclosure and a whopping debt.

As Chelsea confided in pal Whitney Dean, she agreed to move into No.1 temporarily to help her pay the bills and suggested that Chelsea might need some advice from solicitor Eve Unwin.

Sickened fans took to Twitter to discuss Gray’s latest antics.

“Omg I don’t know what Chelsea was expecting. obviously Gray wasn’t gonna keep paying for the house while he’s rotting in prison,” said one viewer.

A fan second agreed: “They think Gray gonna pay the mortgage outta his 15 quid a week on the servery.”

While a third added: “Gray willing to throw Mack and Mia out from behind bars. He was always such a terrible father. Sick”

Gray was finally caught and sent to prison for his crimes earlier this month, leaving Chelsea in turmoil.

He even tried to kill her, after he was exposed for having murdered Tina Carter and his ex-wife Chantelle Atkins – while it also later emerged he killed Kush Kazemi.

Chelsea was crucial in getting him caught as she called 999 in secret, and while connected to the police she got him to confess to Chantelle’s death.

Elsewhere on the episode Stuart Highway’s grandmother Vi returned and learned the truth about his breast cancer.

After learning that Rainie wants to give the baby back to Bernie Taylor after he refused to get surgery, Vi manages to convince Stuart to go ahead with the operation.

Fans were thrilled to see return of Vi, with one fan writing: “I hope this is the start of a bright future for Rainie and Stuart now. The best thing that Staurt has done is realise that he needs treatment as Vi said tonight Staurt has nothing to worry about.

“He’s got the power of family to support him that’s the main thing.”

Meanwhile Isaac Baptiste bid farewell to Walford this evening.

The soap has been foreshadowing a departure for cast member Stevie Basaula’s character this week, ever since he found out his mum Sheree had suffered a heart attack in Trinidad.

Fans saw him bid goodbye to Lola and depart to take care of her, though he intends to return, it appeared to be his final scenes on the BBC soap.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 8pm
