EastEnders' Maisie Smith wows fans in backstage Strictly snap with Tilly Ramsay

Ex-EastEnders star Maisie Smith stunned her fans with a backstage snap from the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.

20-year-old Maisie posed with a group of her fellow Strictly stars – including celebrity chef John Whaite who finished as a runner-up this year when fellow EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis bagged the glitterball trophy.

Gordon Ramsay’s TV star daughter Tilly Ramsay also joined Maisie in the star-studded photo, throwing up her hands in excitement.

Singer Max George, who competed on the 2020 series of Strictly like Maisie, was pictured pulling a playfully goofy facial expression.

Maisie looked incredible in her chequered blue dress, which was held together by a chunky brown belt which was strapped across her waist.

The actress looked all dolled up for the stage, with her thick locks styled in loose curls.

She showed off her chic black leather boots by kicking up her knee on the steps in the studio.

Taking to Instagram with the pic, Maisie was in party-mode as she gave her 1 million followers a peek behind the scenes.

She captioned the post: “You wanna go to a real party?”

Maisie’s fans went wild over her glamorous show dress, but others flocked to compliment her dancing skills.

The stars of the popular BBC dancing competition show have so far toured Birmingham with the next stop being Leeds.

The young actress replaced AJ Odudu on the tour line-up and has been taking to the floor with her professional partner Kai Widdrington, who danced with AJ on this year’s Strictly.

The presenter, 33, pulled out of the show’s final in December due to injuring her ankle whilst training and confirmed she wouldn’t take part in the tour due to medical advice.

Maisie said: “I’m thrilled to be asked to restart my Strictly journey on this year’s arena tour.

“It will be a joy to dance with everyone and so great to see my EastEnders friend Rose again. I wish AJ a speedy recovery.”
