Emmerdale spoilers tease Marlon Dingle death fears as he collapses after stroke

Just as it looked like Marlon Dingle was getting his life back on track, Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that he is set to suffer a devastating stroke.

He has been through a lot recently, between his daughter April’s bullying horror to the destruction and subsequent sale of The Woolpack from underneath him and Chas.

But now, with his romance with Rhona finally sorting itself out, things could be set to take a deadly turn.

Both eager to propose, Rhona and Marlon will simultaneously put their plans in motion next week and propose to each other at the exact same time – in a moment of pure joy for both of them.

Marlon dashes back to Smithy to find the ring he left there, but as he frantically searches for the engagement band, his vision becomes impaired.

Marlon soon collapses to the ground and slowly realises that he’s suffering from a stroke – leaving him frightened and disoriented.

He clings to consciousness as he attempts to remember the F.A.S.T. acronym – Facial weakness, Arm weakness, Speech problems and Time to call 999.

Meanwhile, his daughter April is becoming increasingly worried about her dad, and rushes home to see where he’s got to. He barely recognises his distraught daughter rushing to get help, and frantically calling an ambulance.

Later, Rhona arrives at the hospital where Marlon is being prepped for surgery. Internally, a confused and frightened Marlon begs her to stay with him – but he is unable to speak.

Rhona legs it out of the room to disguise her breakdown after such a tumultuous day. And later, she’s left anxiously waiting for Marlon to come round from his op, terrified how this one single moment could shape the rest of their lives.
