Vinny managed to escape the accident but Liv was left trapped underneath the caravan.
After the heartbreaking scenes played out, Bradley took to Instagram to share four snaps of the pair as well as a touching message to his co-star.
He penned: “What can I say…. 3 years working with this legend! And what a few years it’s been!
“From getting off the booze to nearly dying in a bar, running off to get married and then getting crushed by a caravan, Vinny and Liv have certainly been through the works! But to have this storyline and being part of @emmerdale 50th has been an absolute dream!
“Go and smash it @isobelsteelee and please don’t forget me when you’re in Hollywood! Really going to miss ya xxx”
Isobel replied: “Love you so much Brad. Best friend/husband. Gonna miss you so much.”
Liv’s death comes a year after Isobel and Bradley were sparked off-screen romance rumours as they enjoyed a cosy staycation.
The soap stars were spotted by local and other staycationers at beaches and campsites in Cornwall.
Isobel has since taken to Instagram to share her thoughts on her emotional exit as she called her final wrap on the soap after reportedly choosing to concentrate on her music career.
Posting an array of behind-the-scenes snaps, she said: “And that’s a wrap on Liv Dingle.
“Hard to put into words what this show and the people in it mean to me and how big a decision it was to leave.
“Thank you to every single person I ever worked with and to those that pushed me to be a better person and a better actor.
“Thank you to everyone who watches the show and has supported me throughout, none of it went unnoticed. Thank you to Kate Oates, Ian MacLeod & Jane Hudson.”
She added: “I love you all so much, you know who you are. The most bizarre and wonderful place to have grown up. I’m gonna miss it so much.
“On to the next!”
