Hollywood star Halle Berry appears to have married her boyfriend Van Hunt in a private ceremony over the New Year.
The actress, 55, hinted that she wed the singer, 51, on New Years Day while on holiday together, and shared the happy news on her Instagram page.
Halle posted photos of the couple standing in a chapel, with the caption: “Well, it’s official!”
Another photo captioned “It’s 2022!” showed the happy couple smiling for a selfie in their wedding outfits after the ceremony.
Delighted fans took to social media to congratulate Halle and Van Hunt, with the actress’ Instagram post gaining over 250,000 likes.
Lots of fans posted heart emojis underneath the photos, with one saying: “Congrats! You both look so happy.”
A second said: “Congratulations! Cheers to love and new beginnings,” while a third added “Congratulations beautiful.”
Famous friends also took to social media to congratulate the stars on their wedding, including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson who said: “Congrats you two! Beautiful!” while Octavia Spencer added “Congratulations!”

Celebrity trainer Peter Lee Thomas said: “This absolutely made my year. My love to you both. Can’t wait to celebrate. See you soon.”
The former Bond Girl revealed in August 2020 that she was in a relationship, but did not confirm who her partner was until the following month.
In September 2020, Halle was then pictured wearing a shirt that said Van Hunt on the front.

Talking to Women’s Health in November 2021 about their relationship, Halle revealed that she feels “fulfilled” in her life with musician Van Hunt.
She said: “I wish I had met him sooner so I could have loved him longer.
“I just feel fulfilled. I feel happy in my life romantically, as a mother, as an artist”, adding “I’m a much better mother in this circumstance than I would have been had I stayed in a romantic relationship that didn’t serve me and didn’t make me feel the way I need to feel as a woman.”
The actress, who has two children called Nahla and Maceo, was previously married to Olivier Martinez before the two split in 2015.
She was also previously married to former MLB player David Justice and singer/actor Eric Benét.
