The documentary claimed that the reality star got the nickname aged 18 and it was inspired by the “Formula 1 racing car team”.

After becoming model, the media personality went on to become one of the most recognised faces in Britain.

The show also claimed that Katie posed for snaps with footballers to make money.

“She was clever, she understood how it all worked, she was smart,” former showbiz editor at The Mirror, John Blake told the documentary cameras.

“She would be photographed coming out of a club drunk with a famous footballer, and she’d talk to a photographer and they would often pay her.”

This Morning star Vanessa Feltz also chimed: “She knew exactly what she was doing, she knew the game had to be played and she knew exactly how to play it.”

In February, Katie agreed a payment plan with her creditors, as well as a schedule to repay mortgages taken out against her Sussex home, dubbed the Mucky Mansion.

She has since launched an OnlyFans account in the hope of making £1million but was forced to reduce the monthly subscription fee to attract new punters.

She’s even turned to selling her old clothes on Depop, and in July 2020, she told a bankruptcy hearing of her financial woes: “I haven’t got anything left, everything has been stolen off me.”

Daily Star has contacted Katie’s representative for a comment.
