ITV left viewers raging after the broadcaster mistook Motsi Mabuse for sister Oti during a teaser for today’s episode of This Morning.
Presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby announced that Strictly Come Dancing star Motsi would be joining them on the sofa tomorrow, but a picture of Oti was displayed on the screen instead of Motsi.
And eagle-eyed fans were quick to pick up on the blunder, with several furious at how ITV could make that mistake.

One user penned: “#ThisMorning They have just done an advert talking about Motsi Mabuse while showing a picture of Oti Mabuse. Please tell how and why this has happened once again.”
“@thismorning, just seen an advert for tomorrow’s show saying @MOTSI_MABUSE is a guest, whilst showing a picture of Oti instead! Give your heads a wobble will you!!!,” fumed another viewer.
A third added: “Looks like @ITV are playing an ad for @thismorning . Talking about @MOTSI_MABUSE being on the show tomorrow with a photo of Oti Mabuse,” echoed someone else.”
“Does ITV know that they’re running a This Morning advert that says Motsi Mabuse will be on but shows a picture of Oti Mabuse…?,” echoed someone else.
While a fifth took to Twitter and said: “Is it me or did This Morning just run an ad on ITV with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby saying Motsi Mabuse would be on tomorrow but showing a photo of Oti? Cringeworthy if so.”
Motsi appeared on today’s episode of This Morning and spoke about her new book, Finding My Own Rhythm: My story.
The Strictly judge detailed growing up in a racially segregated South Africa and spoke candidly about her mother who she described as “phenomenal.”
Motsi said: “She made sure that she always protected her children,” before adding: “She’s always been the kind of woman that, if they this is not going to happen, she will find another way to make things happen.”
