Katie Price left fans doing a double-take on Wednesday, as she revealed her plans to do up son Jett’s room using various dismembered teddy bears.
In the inaugural episode of her new Channel 4 documentary Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, former glamour model Katie led the camera crew on a tour of her house before remodelling the whole thing – and first popped into the children’s bedrooms.
Katie plans to relocate her son Jett into a smaller room to accommodate his love of “making dens”, and incorporate a jungle and Jurassic theme into his bedroom to tie in with his love of nature.
But one plan had fans rewinding to see if they’d heard the I’m A Celeb star correctly.
Speaking in Jett’s future room, Katie explained: “And then I’ve got some teddies I’ve bought. I’m going to cut them in half, sew their bodies up and sort of stick them on the wall, so it looks like they’re coming out of the wall.”
“I love being creative. Sometimes you’ve got to think outside the box,” Katie later gushed.
Though Katie only wanted to achieve a living jungle type room, the nightmarish image didn’t bode well for the mansion’s future – at least in the eyes of viewers.
Taking to Twitter, one penned: “F***ing hell, that escalated!”
“Sorry but that kid’s room sounds horrific!” someone else chimed in, as another fan questioned: “Cut up teddies and stuck on the walls?!”
Later in the programme, Katie headed out with her son Harvey to a garden centre, so they could pick out fake grass and ivy trellises to decorate Jett’s walls.
During a discussion with one staff member, Katie laughed when she heard nobody had ever used Astroturf for wallpapering before – and quickly joked it would soon become a trend.
In the introduction to the episode, viewers might have even caught a glimpse of Katie performing “surgery” to one of the teddies set to appear in Jett’s new bedroom, as she sewed up a cuddly lion.
“Oh calm down, it’s only a bit of surgery,” Katie teased as she comforted the plush toy.
The show’s airing comes just after Katie promised she would be joining racy content site OnlyFans – to the delight of her eager followers.
Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion continues next Wednesday at 9pm on Channel 4.
