Love Island's Amber Beckford reveals 'wrong move' that will turn her off in the villa

Love Island’s Amber Beckford has shared the ‘move’ islanders should avoid, if they want to impress her in the villa as the new series prepares to get underway.

The hit ITV2 dating show is back with a bang for its eighth season, which means a fresh batch of singletons are set to enter the villa on a hunt for love – including Nanny and brunette beauty Amber.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star ahead of entering the villa, Amber revealed that she is not impressed by “flashy guys” and in the villa, “If someone tries to do that” it will definitely be a “wrong move”.

She added that although she doesn’t have many consistant icks, flashy guys are a huge turn off for her, adding: “It’s very situational.

“For one guy, it might be absolutely fine and then suddenly, I’m like ‘urgh, it’s making me feel sick’. Whatever that thing is.

“I don’t have any consistant icks, apart from maybe being flashy.”

Amber also revealed that despite being in a few ‘serious’ relationships previously, she does not have any ‘red flags’ when it comes to her perfect match, but said: “Maybe if you’re like too friendly with your ex or something like that, I wouldn’t want that.

“I’m very much this is a fresh start, we’ll see how it goes, so I don’t really have red flags, or carry any bad things that have happened with me. Not that there’s anything specific.”

But what is Amber looking for in her ideal villa partner?

“I don’t necessarily have a perfect guy,” said Amber.

“A few things that I have…a ticklist, would be gentleman, be humourous, have a personality. I’m not too strict on my requirements.”

Describing herself as ‘very loyal’ in a relationship, Amber also said she has ‘lots of different sides’ to her and that she can ‘accomplish anything’ as she steps into the villa.

“I’m confident in myself, and I have the mentality that if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything in life,” said Amber.

“I don’t think I couldn’t win it, but I’m not even there yet, so who knows.”

“I’m very excited. Today, speaking to you guys and stuff, it has been making it feel real. I’m quite excited and I’m one for new experiences, living in the moment kind of vibes.”

Working as a Nanny away from the villa, Amber also showed a determined and competitive flair when speaking about the challenge she is most excited for, saying: “I’ll be excited to see everyone crumble when they want to stop the babies from crying [in the baby challenge]”

Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
