Love Island’s Malin Andersson has given birth to her second child three years after she tragically lost her baby girl Consy.
Announcing the birth of her new arrival, Malin’s rep told MailOnline: “We are super excited to share that Malin gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Friday 28th January on her due date.
“She and her partner are completely in love and are taking this time as a family to enjoy the baby bubble but she cant wait to share more with everyone soon.”
It was back in August 2021 the reality TV star announced that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jared, two years after the tragic death of Consy, her four week old baby girl.
Taking to Instagram, the former Love Island star posted a sweet black-and-white snap of her blossoming baby bump, with Jared’s arms snugly around her.
In the caption Malin penned: “My next chapter. My new beginning. My happy ending. My entire universe. All mine.
“I can’t describe to you all how I feel writing this.
“Everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background – witnessed my life over the past 4 years and has stuck by me as a friend… and now a lover.
“This couldn’t feel any more right – and we’re now bringing a beautiful soul into this world.
“My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong.
“It just wasn’t the right time. All the pain I’ve endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family,” she continued.
“Mumma – I know you’re looking down with bright eyes and a big smile. Baby Consy – protect us from above.”
Before concluding the caption with: “This is us now.”
Malin was devastated when her baby daughter Consy, passed away just four weeks after her birth in December 2018.
The reality and social media star announced in April 2021 she had fallen pregnant again – but devastatingly suffered a miscarriage.
Speaking about her loss in March 2020, Malin said: “I’ve struggled to find any positive in not even being able to hold my baby daughter this Mother’s Day.
“People always say ‘you’re still a mum, you always will be’ but, in my eyes, I need her here or that to be true. I need her here with me, where she belongs.”
Congratulations Malin and Jared!
