Love Island winner Millie Court has become pals with Jessie J.
The pair struck up an unlikely friendship after chatting online.
There is plenty of common ground as they’re both from Romford, Essex.
And they are planning to meet up on home turf for some top-notch grub – pie and mash.
Millie told the Daily Star: “After I left Love Island, I got a message from Jessie J on Instagram. I thought it would just be one message and that would be it, but we ended up having a full-blown conversation and she gave me her number.
“I was thinking, ‘What is going on?’
“We are both Romford girls and we are going to go for pie and mash when she’s back from LA.”
Millie has become a bona fide TV star after winning Love Island with Liam Reardon last summer.
It’s one of the biggest shows on the box, after all. But she’s still stunned to have a chart-topper in her phone book.
Millie said: “It’s so surreal. I’m a big fan of Jessie. I mean, who doesn’t love her? I think she’s amazing.
“We are Romford girls, so we have got to support each other.”
Meanwhile, Millie and boyfriend Liam have been forced to isolate during their first holiday abroad together after Liam’s Covid test came back “presumptive positive”.
The Love Island 2021 winners jetted off to Dubai on Thursday, but things quickly took a turn for the worse after the Welsh heartthrob’s PCR test came back “presumptive positive”.
While the pair start the three-day isolation process from inside their luxurious hotel room in the heart of the city, they shared their disappointing message to their loyal legion of fans on Instagram
Posting a photo of a beautiful orange sunset form their hotel room, Millie explained on Instagram how the couple are “absolutely gutted” to be missing out on their “holiday of a lifetime.”
