Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has made a savage dig at Meghan Markle, claiming she will most likely not inherit any royal palaces due to the ever-unfolding royal drama.
Since Meghan and Prince Harry took a step back from royal life, Laurence reckons they have forfeited any chance of taking up one of the royal palaces one day.
The Changing Rooms star also expressed how is interested in seeing how the future generations of royals decorate the palaces, however, he digs that she won’t be getting her hands on any of them.
The TV personality chatted exclusively to the Daily Star and shared his brutally honest thoughts on the former actress and mum-of-two.
Laurence said: “I’m looking forward to seeing what the new generations do with the places but she is obviously extremely unlikely to get her hands on any of them. So, she can do as she pleases with her style…
“I think we would definitely get tears I don’t often make a duchess cry but that would definitely be an opportunity there.”
The TV personality had also previously branded Meghan as “dull” and shared that he had no interest in working with her.
When asked if this was still true, Laurence added: “Oh yeah, I got into terrible trouble when I said everyone was like ‘oh she’s so nice and so lovely…’
“But no, I always felt very strongly that the kind of taste that she has is very transatlantic international beige – it really wasn’t anything I was interested in at all.”
Laurence is also currently working on the Ideal Home Show, having returned for his tenth year.
Talking about the show, he said: “The Ideal Home Show has always been amazing and it gives you ideas of trends and colours and it’s much easier being able to see it in person than looking online.
“It’s my tenth tear ribbon cutting and I’ve been working for the Ideal Home Show a lot longer than that, it’s a very important part of the seasonal calendar like Ascot or the Chelsea Flower Show.”
The Ideal Home Show, in partnership with NatWest, the world’s longest-running exhibition, is back at Olympia London until Sunday 27th March 2022. A host of experts and celebrities will be hosting Q&As on stage throughout the 17 days at the show. For more information and tickets, please visit idealhomeshow.co.uk
