Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin has reunited with Tilly Ramsay after testing positive with Covid-19.
The dancing duo were forced to separate last week after Strictly professional Nikita fell ill with the virus, but he has now recovered and is no longer infectious.
Taking to his Instagram story to update his fans, Nikita, 24, shared a short video of himself and Tilly, 20, embracing as he revealed that he is “finally back”.
Sharing his excitement, Nikita said: “We’re back! Back together in Leeds.
“We’re ready for you, I’m finally back, I promise I will not leave anymore. “
While hugging him from behind, Tilly added: “I’m not letting go.”
Nikita replied: “She’s not letting go anymore. We are excited!”
A while later, Nikita shared another video clip where he was cheered on by other Strictly members and programme staff.
After being diagnosed with the virus last week, Nikita expressed that he was “so sad” to be missing upcoming performances following the launch of the Strictly tour.
Taking to Instagram to share his news at the time, the pro dancer penned: “So sad to be missing a portion of the Strictly Live Tour, but unfortunately I tested Positive for Covid-19.
“Lots of luck to all the amazing Strictly Cast. Will be back as soon as I can :).”
Replying to his post, TikTok star Tilly replied: “Missing you.”
BBC stars Johannes Radebe, Amy Dowden, Gorka Marquez and Dianne Buswell also wished him a speedy recovery.
The Strictly tour, which will see the return of judge Bruno Tonioli take his seat alongside Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas, kicked off in Birmingham on January 20.
The tour will have the dancers strut their stuff in Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Nottingham and London.
Presenter AJ Odudu, who was unable to take part as a finalist in last year’s series, is also not able to take part in tour due to her persistent foot injury.
The star later confessed that she felt “devastated”, as she originally planned to take part in the show.
Speaking about her health condition earlier this month, AJ expressed: “I had hoped for one last dance with Kai, but I must obviously follow the medical advice.”
EastEnders star and 2020 Strictly finalist Maisie Smith has replaced AJ on the tour and will be dancing alongside Kai Widdrington.
