Tipping Point viewers were left in hysterics after a contestant made a ‘epic’ football blunder during her trivial challenge with host Ben Shephard.
Player Nyome joined three other contestant in a bid to bag a £10k cash prize on the ITV gameshow.
But during a head-to-head with Ben, Nyome was asked to name a Spanish football as part of a trivia question.
“For which Spanish football club did Lionel Messi make his official debut in 2004?” asked Ben.
Fans were stunned at her answer, as she said: “Manchester United.”
Ben struggled to hide his amusement, as she laughed and reminding her that he asked for a Spanish football club, not a British one.

“if only, if only,” he said. Barcelona, it’s a Spanish football club.”
Viewers took to Twitter to react: “That famous Spanish football club Manchester United,” said one followed by an eye roll emoji.
Another said: “Spanish team ,. Man U . Get out.”
“Manchester is in Spain now ffs,” blasted a third, while a forth said: “When did Manchester move to Spain.”

Nyome was later asked another football question, which she passed on to another contestant, before stating: “I know zero about football.”
Nyome did make it to final of the show despite her football gaffe, bagging £3150 after failing to drop the £10k counter.
The episode also saw contestant Abigail, a retired teach from London, appear as the first visually impaired person on the show.
She was aided by a friend backstage who advised her via an earpiece as to when and where was the best time to play her counters. She was accompanied by an independent adjudicator.

Fans reacted on Twitter, with one saying: “Nice to see the visually impaired on #tippingpoint it’s usually intellectually impaired on here.”
“What a responsibility, advising your friend on what and when to press! #TippingPoint”
The show has seen a series of question blunders over the years.
In January, contestant left Ben in a fit of giggles when he answered a couple of extremely simple questions incorrectly
After beginning the competition confidently, during the quick-fire question round Ben asked Joe: ‘The three US states that begin and end in the letter ‘A’ are Alabama, Alaska and which other?’
Joe appeared to forget the first part of the question – that the state had to begin with the letter ‘A’ – as he offered the answer ‘Florida.’
