Tipping Point fans 'furious' at show shakeup as ITV makes major schedule change

Tipping Point fans have been left furious after ITV aired the show early – much to the surprise of viewers.

As fans tuned in at the usual air time of 4pm, they were stunned to learn that the show had already been on TV for 30 minutes, with half the show having already aired.

Bewildered fans were fuming, having been none the wiser at the schedule shake up.

The four player format indicated an old repeat episode as Paula soared into the lead banking an impressive £1300.

Brett was the first to be knocked out, followed shortly after by Kat.

Ian trailed Paula with just £700 but managed to claw his way back and bank catch up with Paula.

As she took on some trivia questions, she banked another £250, landing £1550.

In a nail-biting drop, Ian managed to trail by just £50, but was unable to land one more coin, sending Paula into the final.

Her luck continued as she managed to land the £10k jackpot counter on just the third category, telling Ben the money would be “life-changing.”

The iconic quiz show joined fellow show The Chase in facing a scheduling nightmare as the World Cup begins in Qatar.

Running from November 20 to December 8, the tournament will air on both ITV and the BBC – with the game shows’ schedules in chaos because of it.

Tipping Point usually airs Monday to Friday at 4pm on ITV with Ben Shepherd hosting.

And The Chase follows at 5pm every weekdays hosted by Bradly Walsh.

This comes after popular ITV soaps, Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been cancelled tonight as the World Cup causes chaos with the soap schedules.

Tipping Point airs weekdays from 4pm on ITV1.
