A Tom Cruise impersonator is certainly saying “show me the money” after receiving a seal of approval from the Top Gun icon himself.
Long term professional Tom Cruise impersonator Evan Ferrante earns over six figures per year from voice over work and event appearances, after his looks and voice were described as ‘uncanny’ by the famous Hollywood movie star.
With Top Gun: Maverick currently breaking global box office numbers, Evan is now in demand more than ever, saying: “There is no greater time to be a Tom Cruise impersonator and I am fully cognizant of that. He completes me.
“And he can be my wingman anytime.”

Evan Ferrante became one of the top Tom Cruise impersonators in the world, after a college friend pointed out that he had the same mannerisms as the Hollywood star.
From there, Evan began posting his impersonations on YouTube where he reimagined films including Twilight with Tom Cruise in the leading roles – becoming a viral internet sensation in the process.

Following hours of watching Tom Cruise’s films and tuning the finer details of the star’s voice and mannerisms, it was not long before he was being booked for events and parties to impersonate the actor.
However, the turning point came when he was asked to be a voice double at major Hollywood studios including Paramount.
“A couple of times I have been his voice match for test trailers,” said Evan.

“Paramount brought me in as it was easier than bringing in Cruise. And you only get those gigs if you have sign off from the man or his company.”
Praising the star as ‘the best in the business’ and saying he is “fully indebted to Tom Cruise indirectly speaking,” Evan recalled the once in a lifetime moment he met his idol at a party, saying: “Downstairs my girlfriend was chatting to Tom while getting ready to leave on his motor bike.

“My face lit up, and he just embraced me.
“Almost simultaneously we said ‘It is an honor and privilege to meet,” before him being really cool and just saying ‘well done’.”
He added: “And Tom really does have this unique energy and force about him, he is truly magical. It was the ultimate seal of approval that he knows my performance is an homage to his work.
“Then he took photos It was so exciting that I didn’t sleep that night.”
