TOWIE legend James ‘Arj’ Argent revealed his epic weight loss journey as he is seen revealing his transformation in a jaw-dropping fitness video shared on social media.
In the new video posted on Instagram, the reality TV star, who has lost 13 stone, is seen going for runs, taking on a punching bag, and training with a personal trainer.
The promotional video posted by Boxup Gyms sees the Essex icon go shirtless as he kick-started his workout journey.
An optimistic Arj said: “By Christmas, but possibly even in, the summer this is going to be shredded.”
He then pointed at his sides and said: “This is going to be gone. The back fat is gone, the thighs are going to be skinny, my arms are going to be boom.”
The 34-year-old can then be seen running, jumping, and throwing his arms in the boxing ring before he revealed the transformation.
The motivation Boxup video had been captioned: “THE ONLY WAY IS PROGRESSION” – teasing at the TOWIE theme song.
It continued with: “Great to see @real_arg Speaking Into Existence On Being Motivated In Becoming Fit & Strong”

James has had a very public battle with his weight over the years.
He underwent a gastric sleeve surgery last April at Transform Hospital Group – nine months later, he unveiled his noticeable slimmer physique after shedding nearly half of his 27.5st body weight.
A number of fans continue to support the TOWIE star with viewers of the video hailing the transformation as “absolutely incredible.”
Speaking about his gastric band, Arg added: “I reached the heaviest I’ve ever been in the height of the pandemic.”
“Doctors said I was dicing with death because I’ve got bad asthma and was morbidly obese, which was the worst possible combination if I was to catch Covid.”
“I could have been a goner, so I just knew I had to do something.”
James Argent is an English television personality most iconically known for appearing ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 to 2019.
He has appeared in various other reality series, such as Sugar Free Farm and The Jump, and in 2019, he presented the entertainment segment on Good Morning Britain.
