Snowflake Mountain’s Liam Brown has slammed Love Island for being “unfunny” while dubbing his Netflix show as being “funnier”.
The Netflix show that sees a group of Millennials and Gen-Zers head into the wilderness to live a simpler life away from mod-cons and social media dropped onto Netflix on June 22.
Instantly hitting the top 10, Snowflake Mountain was placed alongside Stranger Things and Umbrella Academy – making it one of the most popular shows on the streaming platform when it launched.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Liam Brown, who appeared on the show as one of two Britons, has lifted the lid on his Snowflake Mountain experience – even dubbing his wilderness-themed show “funnier” than ITV2’s reality-dating show Love Island.
The 22-year-old TV personality who also works in the marketing team at InTheStyle told us: “I mean like this is a bold statement right?
“But I think this show was so funny. I actually think I’ve laughed more at those eight episodes than I have the whole way through Love Island at the moment.”
Liam went on to say: “I don’t find any of it really [sic], there might be a funny moment, but like I know that my show from start to finish was full of laughs.”
He then added: “Bigger people are funny.
“Hey, I’ve got it. Like I’m not being funny, our show was so funny and it was, had such good personality and I just think like that is really what’s important.
“If you can make someone laugh and like especially like with mental health and everything these days like it’s always good to put a smile on someone’s face.”
For those not in the know, Netflix’s Snowflake Mountain is a reality show that sees young people experience the wilderness like never before, while overcoming fears and living with people they don’t know.
The show has been praised for being funny, full of laughs, relatable and size inclusive.
