Alan Carr was barred from hiking up Sydney Harbour Bridge – as he was too tipsy.
The comedian and TV star failed a breathalyser just as he got ready to attempt the hair-raising climb.
The Chatty Man star was turned away for being above the 0.05 blood-alcohol limit – similar to Australia’s drink-drive maximum.

A source said: “It was very brave of Alan to try and tackle it as it’s pretty tough and a long way up.
“It’s 134 metres above the water at the top where you get 360-degree views around the city, opera house and the harbour. But it seems Alan didn’t read the conditions too well as he’d had an alcoholic lunch.

“It was probably just as well as the organisers warn people they’ll have to go 1.5 to three hours without a trip to the loo – so he might have been trying to climb with crossed legs.”
Alan soon passed the test and was allowed to complete the climb later that day.
The ascent takes up to three hours and costs about £200.

Climbers have to sign a health declaration in advance and are asked to consider their level of fitness.
Sadly, Alan’s spokesman said he was too busy to talk to us about the experience.
Alan has been enjoying his travels with pal Amanda Holden on screens recently in BBC show The Italian Job.
The duo have been having a laugh as they take viewers around Italy, with many funny moments going viral on social media platform TikTok.
