Antiques Roadshow fans were left fuming after Sunday night’s show was cut short, presumably amid the Wimbledon coverage.
Viewers expected to see the latest instalment of the BBC One programme on air at 8pm after Carlos Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic in the finals of the tennis championships, but when they tuned in Countryfile was on.
The BBC’s schedule showed that a short episode would air from 8.30pm until 9pm instead of the expected hour, and several fans were upset about the shake up.

Someone had issued a warning before Antiques Roadshow was even due to be on, posting on Twitter: “If they move Antiques Roadshow your life could become very difficult.”
And many others chimed in to share their thoughts when it became clear that Sunday’s (16 July) schedule had been changed up.
“I really don’t know why the Beeb don’t put the boring c*** tennis on BBC 2,” one person sniped on Twitter.
“I enjoy #countryfile and Antiques Roadshow equally and wonder how many people actually watch Wimble b*******,” they went on.
Another moaned about the programme being delayed as they shared a GIF of somebody griping that it was: “Unbelievable!”
“Disappointed that the Beeb decided to cut #AntiquesRoadshow in half but keep Townie File at full length #Countryfile thanks to #Wimbledon,” said another viewer.
“Whilst I enjoy both, I prefer Antiques Roadshow.”
“Major sign that I’m old when I’m f****** fuming that Antiques Roadshow is only half an hour long tonight,” stormed someone else.
One tweeted: “Can’t believe the BBC haven’t change (sic) to BBC 2 because the Antiques Roadshow or Songs Of Praise is now on #Wimbledon.
“Bad news: A truncated episode of #antiquesroadshow,” posted someone else.
