This comes a day after BBC Breakfast reporter Tim Muffett was left outside alone by TV chef Ainsley Harriott, who shut the door in his face.

On Thursday (April 13), Tim and Ainsley were out doorknocking, when Ainsley ended up leaving Tim and going inside a woman’s house mid-report.

While Tim was talking to studio hosts Naga and Charlie – the hosts pointed out that the door had been shut without him knowing.

Charlie Stayt pointed out: “Oh, Ainsley has gone in, he’s really just gone right in.”

Looking baffled, Tim said: “He’s gone in? He’s gone in…”

Naga laughed: “He makes friends very, very quickly.”
