Channel 4 viewers call out 'embarrassing' spelling mistake on show about poo

Viewers have spotted an “embarrassing” spelling mistake during Channel 4’s documentary series about poo.

The episode saw presenters, identical twins Alana and Lisa MacFarlane, speaking to Poo HQ patients about their poo problems, with more than one patient visiting over issues with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

As the show displayed visual graphics to explain what happens inside the gut of someone suffering from IBS, viewers spotted a spelling mistake, with ‘bowel’ being spelt ‘bowl’.

“A case of crotchety crockery? #C4Poo,” they wrote.

Elsewhere in the show fans slammed the presenting duo as they “pulled faces” as patients explained their gut issues to the show’s doctors.

“Great that channel 4 commissioned this program… however the two sisters presenting… I’d wish they’d stop pulling silly faces/reactions as a response to what are sensitive issues as it takes guts to turn up on the show with an issue,” one wrote.

Another tweeted: “Not sure this pair add any value to this. They’re just like irritating nosey neighbours. Just get the doctors in, like on Embarrassing Bodies.”

“You’re absolutely right! Annoying hosts and absolutely pointless, waste of screen time,” a third replied.
