EastEnders’ Demi Miller star looks completely different 17 years after she left the soap following a tragic storyline.
Actress Shana Swash joined her real life brother Joe Swash in Albert Square and played his sister, Demi Miller, for two years. She joined the soap as a feisty teenager in 2004 as she looked to start a new life in Walford.
She soon became all anyone could talk about after arriving pregnant at just 13-years-old, and she then had a key role in various other big storylines. One of which was running away from home with her boyfriend Leo and their infant daughter Aleesha.

They soon became heavily involved with drugs and Leo once discovered Demi unconscious on the floor, believing she had died. Leo then overdosed on heroin and when Demi awoke she discovered he had died in hospital.
Demi then left Walford because she wanted to bring her daughter up away from Albert Square and left with her mum. Now, 17 years on, she looks very different – and her life is a far cry from Demi’s.
Not long ago Shana shared an illustration to her feed about all the cast of EastEnders, marking her time on the soap. She wrote at the time: “Brought back lots of lovely memories. Can you find the Millers?”
Shana hasn’t left the world of acting and still regularly features in films, but she soon embarked on a side hustle which is Swash Jones Coffee. The actress opened up the business in a pop-up van and sells sweet treats, dog biscuits, coffees and milkshakes, to name a few.
She also allows her two passions to overlap and shares details of both her coffee brewing and working on independent films on all her platforms, explaining to her customers what she gets up to when she’s not in her van.
Aside from building businesses the star has also been building her family and announced more exciting baby news over the summer. Back in August she paraded her huge baby bump in a stunning skintight dress as she gathered support from her famous brother.
He’d told her that she “looks amazing”, while Shana told him the family “love uncle Joe”. He has also shared his support for their coffee stall, declaring he’s “super proud” of his sister.
Elsewhere her acting career has seen her appear in independent films and take on roles in TV shows including BBC drama series Doctors.
