EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve figured out the mystery link between Rose Knight and Cindy Beale as the character is set to make a return to the BBC series.
Viewers tuned in to see Phil continue his investigation into George Knight’s mystery ex after Linda raised her suspicions and urged him to seek out the truth about her.
After Phil convinced Callum to search the police database, he told Phil all information about her had been blocked.

He was later paid a visit by the Serious Crimes Unit, warning him not to search for her name and forget anything to do with her.
The curious exchange left Callum baffled, and now fans believe Rose is actually in the witness protection programme and her true identity is Cindy Beale.
“Well, Rose Knight is definitely in police protection, and Cindy would explain why she is not really dead and the closed police file,” said one fan.
“My guess Cindy Beale was in witness protection where she became rose knight she then likely was spotted so they changed her identity again and that’s why she disappeared,” penned a second.
A third added: “Callum saying that the Serious Crime Unit have warned him off looking for Rose, definitely makes it sound like she is gonna be revealed to be Cindy. Could she be in some sort of Witness Protection, that’s why they’re being so secretive.”
Many viewers have been speculating who the mysterious woman could be after spotting a clue in the BBC’s latest teaser trailer for the upcoming reveal.
As the Queen Vic can be seen in the background, text appears that reads: “Every Rose… Has a Thorn.”
One Twitter user spotted a clue that could have revealed her identity.
Editing the text, they noted that if the letter “E” was taken away from the word Rose and added to the word thorn, it spelt out “Ros Thorne.”
Ros Thorne appeared in the soap back in the 90s and played a pivotal role in Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) lives.
The character was a private investigator working for Ian to try and find Cindy after she fled the square with their two sons in tow after she had hired someone to kill him.
Managing to track her down in Italy, Ian got his sons back and Cindy was later arrested for her crimes.
However, in 1998 viewers learned that she had died in prison once she had given birth to her daughter from another man.
Although Ros Thorne wasn’t seen again after her job was complete, fans seem to think the video is a clear link to Cindy.
