Fans were stunned on tonight’s episode of EastEnders after a major storyline involving evil Janine returned to take centre stage.
Fans may remember Janine left the series after being sent down for five years for her part in framing Linda for a drink driving offence and a series of decisions that led to Mick’s death.
But while the square has moved on from the iconic soap villain, she was reintroduced tonight when Linda was informed that Janine had given birth to Mick’s baby son in prison.

Fans were stunned at the mention of her name, with many forgetting she was even pregnant.
“NAHHHH IM CRYING JANINE HAS GIVEN BIRTH OH MY GOD I CANT PROCESS THIS!,’ said one fan.
“I’d actually forgotten that Janine was pregnant,” said a second, while a third penned: “Omg. Janine’s has had Mick’s child, a son!”
Elsehwere, Suki was rushed to the hospital unconscious while Vinny demanded to know what had happened.
Stacey was furious that Eve had planned to leave her and the kids to start a new life with Suki but was stopped in her tracks when she saw the ambulance drama unfolding.
At the hospital, desperate Eve waited for news about Suki and questioned what part Nish had played in her accident.
Suki denied she was pushed down the stairs as Eve suggested, admitting she didn’t remember what had really happened.
Sharon and Keanu continued to clash over The Arches and her hiring of Reiss.
To make matters worse, Sonia and Reiss had invited themselves over for the evening, and the couple had reluctantly played host.
Sonia revealed to Reiss that she was bisexual when she mentioned a former relationship with a woman.
Totally stunned, Reiss lost his cool and offended Sonia, causing her to storm off from the table.
Jay had invited Kim and Billy over to share out more items from Lola’s memory box with Ben.
As his friends tried to give Jay the strength to go on, it was clear he had been faltering in the midst of this all-consuming grief.
