Emma Watson once walked off a Hollywood movie set after she deemed one wild scene as too far.
It has previously been claimed that Emma walked off the set of This Is The End after she deemed a seriously kinky scene as too much – the on-screen moment involved actor Danny McBride, who was holding Channing Tatum on a leash.

Tatum was wearing a leather bodysuit and the clearly bondage-inspired scene proved to be a lot for the Harry Potter star, who walked off set at the sight. In a 2021 interview with GQ, Seth Rogen touched upon the sensitive topic and explained what happened.
When asked whether Watson had “read the script,” Seth replied: “I mean, I don’t look back on that and think: ‘How dare she do that?’ You know? I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was, but it was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye, she helped promote the film.”
Rogen then confessed that Emma was “probably right” and that the scene was “probably funnier the way it ended up”. Fans of the comedy film will no doubt remember the wild scene involving McBride and Tatum, during which Danny can be seen tugging Channing along by a dog collar and a leash.
Tatum’s face was covered with a red and gold wrestling mask as he hugged Danny’s leg, all the while his bare buttocks on display. Danny, who played the film’s antagonist, then points at Channing as says: “You see that? I’ll f***ing slide right into that, I do whatever I want. This is my gimp.”
The Magic Mike actor then removed his wrestling mask and attempted to grind on his captor’s leg as he professed his love to McBride. It has been reported that This Is The End’s creators were sceptical at how Channing would respond to the role, but he was reportedly on board with the scene.
Watson starred in the film alongside comedy giants including Jonah Hill, Kevin Hart and Michael Cera, along with fellow A-list actor Paul Rudd.
