Emmerdale’s Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes) was rushed to hospital after her mum, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) had a collision with Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb).
During the latest instalment of the ITV soap, Nicola was left furious when Jimmy King (Nick Miles) forgot that he needed to take Angel to the dentist as his mind was preoccupied with his problems with nephew Tom King (James Chase).
Despite her stress levels heightening, Nicola insisted she would take Angel instead and still make it to her meeting 20 minutes later.

The journey took a frightening turn however when Nicola’s car collided with Moira’s truck.
While a shaken Moira and Nicola came away with merely a scratch, it was Angel who was unconscious in the back seat.
After the youngster was taken to the hospital, doctors informed Nicola that her daughter would need surgery as they were concerned about the arteries in her leg.
But as the repercussions of the crash unfolded, fans were more confused about who caused the accident and headed to social media to debate the topic.
“Moira was on the main road, so she had the right of way, so if Nicole view was blocked, she should have slowed down before entering. She was arguing with her daughter and not concentrating,” wrote one viewer.
A second added: “The police can clearly see that Nicola pulled out the junction but blaming Moira who had right of way.”
“Moira was involved in a car crash previously, she was hit by Nate’s mother. Bottom line – don’t go out when Moira’s driving,” penned another fan.
A fourth person asked: “How can moira not see?”
While someone else shared: “#Emmerdale is winding me up again. The police can clearly see that Nicola pulled out of the junction but blame Moira who had right of way. Sometimes I just want to slap scriptwriters for treating us like clueless kids.” (sic)
